Dutton Recruitment are currently working closely with a growing organisation to recruit for a Registered Nurse to oversee their 10 bedded nursing service based in Leeds. The role is a permanent position and you would be working with a friendly and bubbly team who are driven and committed. You will oversee the nursing unit and be responsible for running the shift, conducting all nursing and clinical duties, allocating out tasks and co-ordinating the 7 staff on your unit. Some of the clients have PEG feeds so you must be used to working with clients who have PEGS and the service provides support to clients with complex physical disabilities, ABI, neurological disorders, some behaviours that challenge and learning disabilities.
My client will consider a newly qualified nurse as you will be given extensive training and guidance but for nurses who are interested in further progression, if you have 12 months experience you will have the option of being enrolled on your Level 5 qualification in Leadership and management which could lead onto a management carer (the clinical lead did this). You will work 42 hours per week on average, one week 3 shifts per week and the next 4 shifts per week on days. 1 in every 6 weeks you will be expected to work a week of nights as this is how all the other nurses work on a rolling rota. To be considered for this role you must be passionate, hard working, reliable, good with people and have great leadership qualities. The service is absolutely lovely and could offer someone a great carer.
Shift times 7.45am - 8pm.
