Dutton Social Care & Nursing are currently working to support one of our clients to recruit for a strong Clinical nurse manager for a state of the art service in Sheffield.
As the Clinical Nurse manager, you will be responsible for playing a key part in the daily running of the specialist care centre and working closely with the registered home manager. The service itself is broken down into smaller care and nursing units depending on the needs of the clients. Clients who access the service will have a mixture of needs to include ABI, learning and physical disabilities, mental health, challenging behaviour and neurodegenerative conditions. Your main role will be to monitor, supervise and mentor the nursing team to ensure the highest levels are nursing care and provided but there will be occasions when you need to roll up your sleeves and lead by example. You will carry out pre-admission assessments, conducting nursing supervisions and appraisals, audit, review and update care plans and medication records and assist with staff training and development.
To be considered for this role you will be a Registered Nurse, RNLD/RMN or RGN with very strong clinical skills. You will be organised, can work using your own initiative and be able to work collaboratively within an MDT. You will have up to date working knowledge of CQC and treat people with dignity and respect. You will have experience of staff management and overseeing a team and be able to lead by example and demonstrate excellent nursing and clinical standards.
The role is 40 hrs per week, 2 x 12-hour shifts and the rest supernumerary.
